So You Want to be a Work at Home Mom
So You Want to be a Work at Home Mom
Thursday, September 3, 2009
From the looks of my recent blog entries, you’d think the only thing going on in the world this week was the advent of A Different Dream for My Child. But a recent email from a friend who also released a book this week was a good reminder that there is a world beyond my teeny, tiny orbit.
Jill Hart, one of the co-authors of So You Want to be a Work at Home Mom, is also the founder of the Christian Work at Home Moms website. Jill and I met in an airport a few years ago, only to discover we were both on our way to the Mt. Hermon Writers’ Conference. We attended as newbies thanks to the generosity of Cec Murphey who provides numerous scholarships for wannabe writers like us. We schlepped book proposals at the conference, and now over two years later, our books were released by different publishers on the same day.
If you are a young mom and want to stay home with your kids while contributing to your families finances, this book can get you started. A visit now and then to Jill’s website will motivate you to keep going and provide an online community of work at home moms.
I invite you to read their blog tour information below to learn more about So You Want to be a Work at Home Mom.
